The key to smooth, firm, radiant skin is proper collagen production. Whether it’s fine lines and wrinkles, stretch marks, or scars increased collagen production can give you natural, lasting improvement.

Skin rejuvenation treatments with the Eclipse Micropen stimulate your body to increase production of collagen in the area treated. During this procedure, also known as Collagen Induction Therapy, tiny needles are used to create controlled micro-injuries to the skin in order to produce collagen and elastin. The addition of hyaluronic acid (HA) serum helps tissue repair quickly and build back better than ever.

PRP Therapy

Additionally, PRP Therapy can be used to enhance healing for faster results. PRP, Platelet Rich Plasma, is the next generation of regenerative therapy. The procedure involves a simple blood draw after which the growth factors from the blood are extracted, concentrated, and applied to the treatment area.

The treatment starts with the application of a numbing cream to provide you a pain-free experience. Next, HA or PRP is applied to the treatment area and the Micropen is passed over the area several times.  Immediately after the treatment, you will notice a bright redness to the skin. This will look similar to a sunburn and will fade over the next 3-5 days.

Patients notice an immediate “glow” to their skin. Visible changes to the skin develop over the course of several days and weeks. Results continue to improve up to 6 months after the treatment as collagen production continues.

Some patients only require a single treatment, once per year to achieve optimal results. However, it is recommended for most patients to receive a series of 2-3 treatments spaced about 6-8 weeks apart.

For patients with deep wrinkles, advanced photo-aging, stretch marks or acne scars it is recommended to receive 6-8 sessions at 6 week intervals.
